Overview

JoyIn Games (“JoyIn Games”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to the series of casual games developed, published, or operated by us that link to this Policy within the application or on their app store listing (collectively, the “Games”).

This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information, and how you can exercise your rights. Features vary between Games. Information relating to a particular feature or service is processed only when that feature is used or that service is enabled.

1. Information we collect and why

1.1 Device and advertising information

The Games are supported by advertising. Depending on each Game’s configuration, we use Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network (formerly Facebook Audience Network), or both to display advertisements.

When advertising services operate, their software development kits (“SDKs”) collect or receive necessary information, which may include:

  • Device and related identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and other identifiers used by the relevant SDK as permitted by platform rules;
  • Device and application information, such as device model, operating system version, application version, and SDK version;
  • Network information, such as IP address and approximate location inferred from that address;
  • Advertising interaction information, such as ad requests, impressions, clicks, and video ad viewing activity; and
  • Diagnostic information, such as error logs, crash information, and performance data.

The specific information processed depends on the SDK in use, device operating system, advertising configuration, and your privacy choices. This information supports ad delivery, frequency management, performance measurement, service analysis, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention.

If personalized advertising is offered, we and the relevant advertising providers will obtain your consent before processing where required by applicable law and platform rules. Non-personalized advertising may still involve processing information necessary for ad delivery, security, and measurement.

We do not collect or use permanent device identifiers, such as IMEI, IMSI, or SIM serial numbers, for advertising purposes, or link advertising IDs to permanent device identifiers for those purposes.

1.2 Leaderboard information

Some Games may offer optional leaderboards. When you choose to participate or submit a score, we process:

  • The username or nickname you submit;
  • Your submitted scores, ranking, and related gameplay records; and
  • An internal player identifier used to distinguish players, associate scores, and maintain fair rankings.

We use this information to save scores, calculate rankings, display leaderboards, and prevent cheating.

Your submitted username or nickname, score, and ranking will be visible to other players on the leaderboard. Device identifiers and internal player identifiers are not displayed as leaderboard content.

Please do not include your real name, phone number, email address, home address, or other private information in your public username or nickname. You may choose not to use leaderboards without affecting unrelated game features.

1.3 Communications and feedback

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you voluntarily provide to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, handle complaints, or address requests concerning your information. Please do not provide sensitive information unrelated to your request.

1.4 In-app purchases and other information

The Games covered by this Policy do not currently offer in-app purchases. We do not collect payment card or other payment information through a game purchase process.

We do not require access to your contacts, text messages, call logs, photos, microphone content, or precise location to provide the game and advertising features described above. If we introduce features involving other personal information, we will update our disclosures before the processing begins and obtain any required permission or consent.

2. How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

  1. Providing and maintaining the Games and enabled leaderboard features;
  2. Displaying ads, measuring advertising performance, and managing ad frequency;
  3. Providing personalized advertising where we have an applicable lawful basis;
  4. Troubleshooting, maintaining service stability, and improving the gaming experience;
  5. Preventing cheating, advertising fraud, and other threats to service security;
  6. Responding to inquiries, complaints, and personal information rights requests; and
  7. Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use information for other purposes incompatible with those described above. If a purpose changes, we will provide notice and obtain renewed consent where required.

3. Information sharing and third-party services

Advertising providers may combine information obtained through the Games with other information they lawfully hold, as described in their privacy policies. Please review their policies and settings to understand their practices and available controls. Integrating these advertising services does not necessarily require you to sign in to a Google or Facebook account in a Game.

Technical service providers

If we use hosting, data storage, or other technical services, providers may process information as necessary to deliver those services. Providers processing information on our behalf are required to use it for agreed purposes and apply appropriate safeguards.

Other circumstances

We may disclose necessary information to comply with legal obligations or valid judicial or regulatory requests, protect users and service security, or follow your explicit instructions.

If personal information is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, we will provide notice as required by law and require the recipient to uphold applicable information protection obligations.

4. Information retention and deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We determine retention periods by considering functional needs, user requests, security risks, and applicable legal requirements.

  • Leaderboard information: Retained as necessary to provide the relevant leaderboard service. We delete or irreversibly anonymize it following a valid deletion request or when the records are no longer necessary for that service.
  • Inquiries and feedback: Retained as necessary to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and maintain necessary handling records, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Technical and security records: Retained only as necessary for troubleshooting, security, and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Third-party advertising data: Information independently processed by advertising providers is subject to the retention and deletion rules in their privacy policies.

If legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution require us to retain certain information longer, we limit its use and delete or anonymize it when the reason for retention no longer applies.

If information in backups cannot immediately be deleted individually, we restrict further processing and remove it through normal backup replacement and cleanup processes.

5. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, request restrictions on processing, or exercise other applicable rights.

Deleting leaderboard information

You may request deletion of your leaderboard username and related scores using the contact email below. Please identify the Game, your leaderboard username, and the minimum information needed to locate the records. We may reasonably verify your identity to prevent unauthorized requests, but will not request information unrelated to that verification.

Managing advertising privacy

You can use your Android device’s advertising privacy settings to manage or delete your advertising ID. Available options and settings locations vary by device and operating system version.

You can also manage relevant preferences using Google’s and Meta’s privacy and advertising settings. Where a Game provides a privacy choices or advertising consent control, you can use it to change your choices or withdraw consent.

Disabling personalized ads does not necessarily reduce the number of ads you see or stop all processing needed for ad delivery, security, and measurement.

Stopping use and uninstalling

You may stop using or uninstall a Game. Uninstalling generally removes some locally stored data, but does not automatically delete uploaded leaderboard records or information already retained by advertising providers.

For information we hold, contact us using the details below. For information independently processed by a third party, you may also exercise your rights through the channels in that provider’s privacy policy.

We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why.

6. Information security

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and risks of the information, including encryption such as HTTPS when transmitting personal information, access restrictions, and maintenance of relevant system security.

If a security incident involving personal information occurs, we will take measures to contain its effects and provide notifications and reports as required by applicable law.

7. International processing

Advertising and technical services may be provided from different countries or regions. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country or region, including in countries where Google and Meta provide or support their services.

Where international processing occurs, we will provide required notices, obtain consent where required, comply with other applicable procedures, and apply relevant safeguards. Please review the advertising providers’ privacy policies for their international data processing arrangements.

8. Children and minors

The intended audience of each Game is described in its app store listing and in-game notices. A Game is not treated as specifically directed to children solely because it is a casual or mini-game.

For Games directed to children or including children in their audience, we configure data processing and advertising in accordance with applicable law and Google Play requirements. We do not serve interest-based advertising to users identified as children under applicable law, and we observe applicable restrictions on children’s advertising SDKs and identifiers.

Where parental or guardian consent is legally required, we obtain valid consent before processing the relevant child’s personal information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information without required consent, please contact us. After verification, we will delete the information or take other necessary action as required by law.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to features, third-party services, or legal requirements. We will publish the revised Policy and its updated date on this page.

For changes that may significantly affect your personal information rights, we will provide an in-game notice or other appropriate notice. Where renewed consent is required, we will obtain it before the relevant processing begins.

If a particular Game involves specific data practices not covered here, we will disclose them through a supplemental notice for that Game.
